Umrah Tawaf ka Tarika

It is makruh to lie face down and place one’s forehead on a pillow. However, it is not makruh to place one’s head or face on a pillow, it is permissible. (Hayat al-Fatawa)
It is makruh to wipe one’s face with a cloth or towel. Therefore, one should wipe one’s face with one’s hands, and not use a cloth. Similarly, it is makruh to stand under the curtain of the Kaaba in such a way that the curtain touches one’s face, and if the curtain does not touch one’s head and face, it is permissible. (Al-Dur al-Mukhtar)
It is makruh to tie the two ends of the Ihram apron from the front. Similarly, it is makruh to tie it with a knot or a pin or a thread, etc. However, if one does this to protect the cover, then one will not be required to give alms or charity. (Hayat al-Fatawa)
It is makruh to tie a bandage on other parts of the body except the head and face without an excuse, and it is not makruh to tie a bandage on the head and face, whether there is an excuse or not. (Hayat al-Fatawa)

Arriving at Mecca?

When Mecca approaches, enter Mecca with recitation of Talbiyah with enthusiasm, supplication, and seeking forgiveness, and pay attention to Allah Almighty. Make arrangements for your accommodation and belongings, etc. If you need to rest, rest, otherwise perform ablution or take a bath and proceed to the Grand Mosque to perform Umrah. Continue reciting Talbiyah. A woman who is menstruating should stay at home and not come to the Grand Mosque. She should perform Umrah after her period is over. (Fiqh al-Sunnah)

Attendance at the Grand Mosque?

If you know the Bab al-As-Salam, it is better to enter the Grand Mosque through this gate, otherwise it is permissible to enter through any gate. When you enter the Sacred Mosque, with all due respect, take your right foot first and say this supplication:

In the name of Allah, and prayers and peace be upon the Messenger of Allah, my Lord, forgive my sins and open for me the doors of Your mercy (Ghaniyat al-Talibeen)

And make the intention of I’tikaf and proceed without causing any harm to anyone. (Ghaniyat al-Talibeen)

First sight

When you first see the House of Allah, stand aside from the path and:

Say Allahu Akbar three times.
Say La ilaha illallah three times.
Then raise both hands for supplication and recite Durood Shareef and supplicate:

O Allah! I seek Your pleasure and Paradise and seek refuge in You from Your anger and Hell (Al-Adab Al-Mufrad)

“O Allah! I seek Your pleasure and Paradise and seek refuge in You from Your anger and Hell.”

O Allah! Accept from me all the supplications that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) has made or told me upon seeing the Kaaba, and O Allah! Make me one whose supplication is accepted! Amen. (Mishkat Al-Masabih)

How to perform Umrah?

Now you have to perform Umrah. Therefore, do not recite the Tahiyyat al-Masjid after entering the Masjid al-Haram, the Tahiyyat of this Masjid is Tawaf, so after making dua, perform Tawaf for Umrah and if for some reason you do not have to perform Tawaf right now and it is not a makruh time, then recite Tahiyyat al-Masjid instead of Tawaf. (Ghuniyat al-Talibeen)

Perform ablution for Tawaf because it is not permissible to perform Tawaf without ablution. (Ghuniyat al-Talibeen)

Performing Tawaf both below and on the roof is permissible. (Ghuniyat al-Talibeen)

Tawaf?

Now, go to Hajar al-Aswad to perform Tawaf and when you reach there, remove the Ihram cloak that you are wearing from your right armpit and place its two folds on your left shoulder from front to back, leaving the right shoulder open. This is called Idtaba’. This is a Sunnah in all seven rounds of Tawaf. (Hayat al-Fatawa)

Intention for Tawaf?

Now, stand in front of the Kaaba on the side where the Black Stone is, so that the entire Black Stone is on your right. For this purpose, you can also take help from the black strip on the floor under the Black Stone. In such a way that you turn the entire black strip to your right and place your foot on the left edge of the strip, then face the Qiblah without raising your hands and make the intention for Tawaf:

“O Allah! I am performing Tawaf for Umrah for Your pleasure, make it easy for me and accept it.” (Hayat al-Fatawa)

Then, facing the Qibla, move to the right and come directly in front of the Black Stone and raise both hands up to the ears and turn the palms towards the Black Stone and say:

In the name of Allah, Allah, the Light, and praise be to Allah, and prayers and peace be upon the Messenger of Allah (Hayat al-Fatawa)

And release both hands.

Istamla or gesture?

Then make istamla, that is, place both palms on the Black Stone in the same way as they are placed in prostration, then place your mouth between them and kiss them gently, provided that there is no perfume on the Black Stone and doing so does not cause discomfort to others. Otherwise, do not greet each other, but rather indicate it, the method of which is as follows:

Raise both hands in such a way that the backs of both palms are facing your face and the inner parts of both of them are facing the Black Stone. As if you have placed them on the Black Stone and say in a loud voice:

“In the name of Allah, Allah is the greatest, and to Him is the praise, and to Him is the prayer, and peace be upon the Messenger of Allah” (Musnad Ahmad)

Then make a supplication and kiss both palms and close the Talbiyah and turn to the right, start the Tawaf and walk towards the door of the House.

Raml (walking quickly) is Sunnah in the first three rounds.

اوندھا ہو کر منہ کے بل لیٹ کر تکیہ پر پیشانی رکھنا مکروہ ہے۔ البتہ سر یا رُخسار تکیہ پر رکھنا مکروہ نہیں، جائز ہے۔ (حیات الفتاویٰ)
کپڑے یا تولیہ سے منہ پونچھنا مکروہ ہے۔ لہذا ہاتھ سے چہرہ صاف کریں، کپڑا استعمال نہ کریں۔ اسی طرح کعبہ کے پردے کے نیچے اس طرح کھڑے ہونا کہ پردہ منہ کو لگے مکروہ ہے، اور اگر سر اور چہرہ کو پردہ نہ لگے تو جائز ہے۔ (الدر المختار)
احرام کے تہبند کے دونوں پلوں کو آگے سے سینا مکروہ ہے۔ اسی طرح اس میں گروہ لگانا یا پن لگانا یا دھاگہ وغیرہ سے باندھنا بھی مکروہ ہے۔ تاہم اگر کسی نے ستر کی حفاظت کے لیے ایسا کیا تو دم یا صدقہ واجب نہ ہوگا۔ (حیات الفتاویٰ)
سر اور چہرے کے سوا جسم کے دیگر اعضاء پر بلاعذر پٹی باندھنا مکروہ ہے اور غور میں مکروہ نہیں اور سر اور چہرے پر پٹی وغیرہ باندھنا درست نہیں، خواہ عذر ہو یا نہ ہو۔ (حیات الفتاویٰ)

مکہ مکرمہ پہنچنا

جب مکہ مکرمہ قریب آ جائے تو ذوق و شوق سے تلبیہ پڑھتے ہوئے دُعا و استغفار کرتے ہوئے اللہ تعالیٰ کی طرف دھیان کرتے ہوئے مکہ معظمہ میں داخل ہوں۔ رہنے کی جگہ اور سامان وغیرہ کا انتظام کر کے دیکھیں، اگر آرام کی ضرورت ہو تو آرام کریں ورنہ وضو یا غسل کر کے عمرہ کرنے کے لیے مسجد حرام کی طرف چلیں۔ تلبیہ جاری رہے۔ جس خاتون کو ماہواری آ رہی ہو، وہ گھر ہی میں رہے، مسجد حرام میں نہ آئے۔ وہ ماہواری سے فارغ ہو کر عمرہ کرے گی۔ (فقہ السنہ)

مسجد حرام میں حاضری

اگر باب السلام معلوم ہو تو مسجد حرام میں اس دروازے سے داخل ہونا بہتر ہے ورنہ ہر دروازہ سے داخل ہونا جائز ہے۔ جب آپ مسجد حرام میں داخل ہوں تو دل سے پورے ادب کے ساتھ پہلے دایاں قدم رکھیں اور یہ دُعا کریں:

بِسْمِ اللهِ وَالصَّلوةَ وَالسَّلَامُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ رَبِّ اغْفِرْلِي ذُنُوبِي وَافْتَحُ لِي أَبْوَابَ رَحْمَتِكَ (غنیۃ الطالبین)

اور اعتکاف کی نیت کریں اور کسی کو تکلیف دیے بغیر آگے بڑھیں۔ (غنیۃ الطالبین)

پہلی نظر

جب بیت اللہ پر پہلی نظر پڑے تو راستہ سے ہٹ کر ایک طرف کھڑے ہوں اور:

اللہ اکبر تین مرتبہ کہیں۔
لا الہ الا للہ تین مرتبہ کہیں۔
پھر دونوں ہاتھ دعا کے لیے اُٹھائیں اور درود شریف پڑھ کر خوب دعا مانگیں:

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي اَسْتَلْكَ رِضَاكَ وَالْجَنَّةَ وَاَعُوْذُبِكَ مِنْ سَخَطِكَ وَالنَّارِ (الادب المفرد)

“اے اللہ! میں آپ سے آپ کی رضا اور جنت مانگتا ہوں اور آپ کی ناراضگی اور دوزخ سے پناہ مانگتا ہوں۔”

یا اللہ! خانہ کعبہ نظر آنے پر سرکار دو عالم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے جتنی دعائیں مانگی ہیں یا بتلائی ہیں وہ سب میری طرف سے قبول فرما لیجئے اور اے اللہ! مجھے میری دُعا قبول ہونے والا بنا دیجئے! آمین۔ (مشکوۃ المصابیح)

عمرہ ادا کرنے کا طریقہ

اب آپ کو عمرہ ادا کرنا ہے۔ لہذا مسجد الحرام میں داخل ہونے کے بعد تحیۃ المسجد کے نفل نہ پڑھیں، اس مسجد کا تحیتہ طواف ہے، اس لیے دُعا مانگنے کے بعد عمرہ کا طواف کریں اور اگر کسی وجہ سے ابھی طواف نہ کرنا ہو اور مکروہ وقت بھی نہ ہو تو پھر بجائے طواف کے تحیۃ المسجد پڑھیں۔ (غنیۃ الطالبین)

طواف کے لیے وضو کریں کیونکہ بلا وضو طواف کرنا جائز نہیں۔ (غنیۃ الطالبین)

نیچے اور چھت پر طواف کرنا دونوں طرح جائز ہے۔ (غنیۃ الطالبین)

طواف

اب آپ طواف کرنے کے لیے حجر اسود کی طرف چلیں اور وہاں پہنچ کر احرام کی جو چادر اوڑھ رکھی ہے اس کو داہنی بغل سے نکال کر اس کے دونوں پلے آگے پیچھے سے بائیں کاندھے پر ڈالیں اور داہنا کندھا کھلا رہنے دیں، اسے اضطباع کہتے ہیں، یہ طواف کے ساتوں چکروں میں سنت ہے۔ (حیات الفتاویٰ)

طواف کی نیت

اب آپ خانہ کعبہ کے سامنے جس طرف حجر اسود ہے، اس طرح کھڑے ہوں کہ پورا حجر اسود آپ کے دائیں جانب ہو جائے۔ اس مقصد کے لیے حجر اسود کے نیچے فرش میں جو سیاہ پٹی بنی ہوئی ہے، اس سے بھی مدد لے سکتے ہیں۔ اس طرح سے کہ پوری سیاہ پٹی اپنے داہنی طرف کر دیں اور پٹی کے بائیں کنارے سے اپنا قدم ملا کر رکھیں، پھر قبلہ رخ بغیر ہاتھ اُٹھائے طواف کی نیت کریں:

“اے اللہ! میں آپ کی رضا کے لیے عمرہ کا طواف کرتا ہوں، آپ اس کو میرے لیے آسان کر دیجئے اور قبول کر لیجئے۔” (حیات الفتاویٰ)

پھر قبلہ رو ہی دائیں طرف کھسک کر بالکل حجر اسود کے سامنے آئیں اور دونوں ہاتھ کانوں تک اُٹھائیں اور ہتھیلیوں کا رُخ حجر اسود کی طرف کریں اور کہیں:

بسم اللہ اللہ النور وَلِلَّهِ الْحَمْدُ وَالصَّلَوةُ وَالسَّلَامُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ (حیات الفتاویٰ) اور دونوں ہاتھ چھوڑ دیں۔

استلام یا اشارہ

پھر استلام کریں، یعنی دونوں ہتھیلیاں حجر اسود پر اس طرح رکھیں جس طرح سجدہ میں رکھی جاتی ہیں، پھر ان کے درمیان میں منہ رکھ کر آہستہ سے بوسہ دیں، بشرطیکہ حجر اسود پر خوشبو نہ لگی ہوئی ہو اور ایسا کرنے سے دوسروں کو تکلیف بھی نہ ہو۔ ورنہ استلام نہ کریں بلکہ اس کا اشارہ کریں، جس کا طریقہ یہ ہے:

دونوں ہاتھ اس طرح اُٹھائیں کہ دونوں ہتھیلیوں کی پشت اپنے چہرہ کی طرف ہو اور ان دونوں کا اندرونی حصہ حجر اسود کے سامنے کریں۔ گویا حجر اسود پر رکھ دی ہیں اور بلند آواز میں کہیں:

“بسم اللهِ اللهُ أَكْبَرُ وَلِلهِ الْحَمْدُ وَالصَّلوةُ وَالسَّلامُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ” (مسند احمد)

پھر دعا کریں اور دونوں ہتھیلیاں چوم لیں اور تلبیہ بند کر دیں اور دائیں طرف مڑ کر طواف شروع کر دیں اور بیت اللہ کے دروازے کی طرف چلیں۔

پہلے تین چکروں میں رمل (تیز قدموں سے چلنا) مسنون ہے۔
